Empower Care Disability Services Pty Ltd (ABN 37 695 788 884) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
We collect the information we need to respond to you and to provide our supports. This may include your name, contact details, information about your disability, health and support needs, and your NDIS plan. Information about your health or disability is sensitive information, and we only collect it with your consent.
How we collect it
We collect information from you directly, for example when you call us or send an enquiry through this website. With your consent, we may also collect it from people who support you, such as a family member, support coordinator or plan manager.

- To meet our obligations as an NDIS provider
We don’t sell your information or use it for marketing without your consent.
Enquiries sent through this website
When you send an enquiry form, it is processed on servers in Australia and then emailed to our team using Resend, an email delivery service based in the United States. This means your enquiry is disclosed to an overseas recipient. We take reasonable steps to make sure it handles your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles, and we only send the details you enter in the form. If you’d rather not use the form, you can call us on 0424 899 217.
Google Maps
Our home page shows a map from Google Maps. When the map loads, Google may collect information such as your IP address and set cookies, under Google’s own privacy policy. We don’t receive or control this information.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with your consent, or where the law requires or allows it — for example with the NDIA or the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
Keeping it safe
We store information securely and only allow staff who need it to see it. We keep records for as long as the law requires and then destroy them securely.

If you’re worried about how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) on 1300 363 992 or at oaic.gov.au.
